Canterbury graduates from the past five-decades came to campus on Saturday, January 16, to participate in the 11th annual Charles R. Huntington Alumni Hockey Game.
Thirty-six former Saints hockey players suited up for the game, while other alumni came to watch the action. Many of the players brought along their spouses and children. In a fast-paced and high-scoring game, the white jerseys surged to an early lead and never looked back, defeating the blue jerseys 11-7. Robert DiNicola '07 led the scoring.
Bob Werber '72 and Dan Murphy '79 represented the more senior alums, while Michael Larino '09 was the youngest player. Former Saints star Anthony Marotta '94 came all the way from Los Angeles to play. The participation of Dakota Mulheren Woodham '03 sparked the idea for a girls’ game next year. Finally, Kirk Emmons '90 made his first visit back to the hill since his graduation 20 years ago.
