Making Connections on College Night

Making Connections on College Night

Canterbury students spend much of their time preparing for the academic rigors of college, and at Fall College Night, they received a sneak peek of what that next step might look like. Representatives from nearly 40 colleges and universities came to campus and set up booths in the Steers Center Ragland Commons to share information and chat with our Saints.

Director of College Counseling Sarah Ferland was thrilled with how well attending students presented themselves. “The energy on College Night was fantastic. Our students were engaged and enthusiastic,” she said. “The Sixth Formers connected with schools they will apply to and learned about new ones. At the same time, many of our underform students had their first college fair experience. The visiting reps appreciated the opportunity to meet our students; their feedback was overwhelmingly positive.”

College Night is part of a comprehensive college counseling program at Canterbury that helps students navigate the process, make the best choices, and ultimately attend many of the country’s leading colleges and universities.
