Saints Social Series Gathers Alumni from Coast to Coast

It’s always a pleasure when Saints return to campus to reflect on their Canterbury days. But even beyond the hilltop, the School’s vibrant alumni community is engaged and eager to connect. Recently, two Saints Social Series events brought alumni together on both coasts to celebrate old friendships and make new ones.

The first of these events was held on April 9 at the home of Peter ’63 and Barbara Folger in San Francisco. The Folgers, Head of School Caroline Blatti, and more than a dozen members of the Bay Area Canterbury community enjoyed an intimate evening of reminiscing and catching up with each other and the School. On April 16, Atlanta-area alumni met at the historic Piedmont Driving Club at the invitation of Ed ’62 and Margaret Hutchinson for dinner and the kind of conversation one can only have with fellow Saints.

"I would like to thank all of the Saints who came together for these fantastic events," says Caroline. "I would especially like to extend my gratitude to our gracious hosts, Peter and Barbara, and Ed and Margaret. Gatherings like these are a testament to the lifelong bonds of friendship forged at Canterbury, and the transformative power of its alumni community.”

If you missed these memorable evenings, don’t worry: over the summer and beyond, there will be even more opportunities to connect with Canterbury. We hope we’ll see you there!
