COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION
Canterbury's Medical Task Force strongly encourages our new and returning students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before the start of the 2021-22 school year and continues to assess whether this vaccination will be required. A decision will be reached by July 1 and will be communicated directly to families via email. In the weeks ahead, we will continue to monitor the evolving guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Connecticut Department of Public Health as well as consult the best medical evidence available as we make this decision. If Canterbury chooses to make the vaccine mandatory for the student body, we acknowledge that some families may inquire about our exemption process, including waivers required of parents/guardians, and we will manage these inquiries on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that unvaccinated students are likely to be subject to different campus protocols and may be limited in their ability to fully participate in in-person activities.
