Interpersonal communication is at the crux of collaboration and communication.
It is through interpersonal communication and intercultural skills that students are able to connect with other people, develop as mindful listeners, and become empathetic learners and individuals. Faculty encourage the growth of interpersonal communication skills through academic coursework focused on seeing the world through a variety of lenses. Students are supported to question and contextualize coursework and are provided the space to grow in their own perspective and identity. Across campus—from student leadership opportunities to team sports—students learn how to share their ideas effectively while interacting with and understanding others.
Upon graduation, students have cultivated a keen
sense of social awareness and responsibility.
