Application Process

Your Canterbury Story Starts Here

Our goal is to make the application process as smooth and simple as possible. Just follow the step-by-step instructions below, taking note of all important deadlines to be sure you keep your application on track.

Application process

Step 1: Tell Us About Yourself

We pride ourselves on knowing our students well—their interests, aspirations, and areas for growth—both in and out of the classroom. The more we know, the more we can support your journey at Canterbury. To begin the application process, please complete our online inquiry form.

This form will also add your family to our mailing list to receive information and invitations to our open houses and regional admission events.

Step 2: Visit and Interview

A campus visit allows you to learn firsthand about our warm, welcoming, and tight-knit community, and it’s a chance for us to get to know you, too!

Step 3: Submit Your Application

The application deadline is January 15.

Completed applications submitted by January 15 receive an admission decision on March 10. Applications submitted after January 15 are subject to space availability and are considered on a rolling admission basis.

Step 4: Take a Standardized Test

For the 2025-2026 application cycle, Canterbury strongly encourages domestic applicants to submit standardized test scores. Please inform your Admission Officer if you will not be submitting a standardized test score with your completed application. If you do not submit standardized test results, your application will be given consideration; however, please be aware that we may ask for additional information to support your academic achievement.
