Head Coach Charlie Gaetjens
During Coach Gaetjens’ two years teaching at the Knox School, NY, (1998-2000), he coached Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Golf, and JV Tennis. Charlie attended Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH, and was co-captain and MVP of both the Cross Country and Track teams while there. In track, Charlie was undefeated in the 1600m, 800m, and 4x400m relay, and was awarded a Gold Medal—the highest athletic honor given at WRA. Charlie went on to run Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track at Hamilton College and ran his first marathon during his junior year abroad in Madrid, Spain.
Charlie seeks to instill a sense of camaraderie amongst his team and works with runners to individualize their training and workouts.
