Head Coach Jim Stone

Jim Stone, Canterbury’s head coach of Varsity Football since fall 2017, brings over 30 years of coaching experience at the independent high school level. Jim served as the Director of Athletics at Blair Academy, NJ for twenty years during which he led the football program as the head varsity coach. Jim led the Blair Buccaneers to eight State Prep A titles and six MAPL Championships during this time with an overall 128-56 record. Prior to serving as head coach, Jim was the offensive coordinator for Blair Academy for two years and the assistant varsity coach at Berkshire School for four years. Jim attended University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, NC where he received his bachelor’s degree in education and was a member of the Varsity Baseball team. In addition to serving as head football coach, Jim is the Director of Athletics.
