Girls' Cross Country
Girls’ Cross Country competes in Division 3 of the New England Preparatory Scholastic Athletic Conference (NEPSAC). Each year, the School hosts the Canterbury Invitational on campus, which celebrated its 50th year in 2023. As part of that milestone, the race’s name was changed to the Tracy Garcia-LaVigne Girls’ Cross Country Invitational to honor the long-time coach whose leadership has ensured the event’s integrity through the years. In addition, Canterbury hosts the New England Championship meet every other year.
Manny Chinyumba joined Canterbury's Admission team in 2023 as an Assistant Director after spending time at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School in New York City as a guest teacher. Manny earned his bachelor’s in Political Science at the University of Connecticut. In addition to his admission and coaching duties at Canterbury, he is an Advisor and a Dorm Parent in Sheehan House.
