Girls' Varsity Crew
The Girls’ Crew team competes against public and private schools in and around Connecticut. Each spring, the team participates in five to six races in addition to the Founders Day Regatta, the region’s largest one-day youth fours race. Competitive crews aim to qualify for the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association (NEIRA) championships. The team practices on the nearby Housatonic River. The Crew program also takes a spring training trip to Florida in March to jumpstart the season with a focus on fitness and technique.
