Boys' Varsity Hockey

The Canterbury Boys’ Varsity Hockey team competes in the highly respected New England Prep Hockey Conference. In 2024, the Saints became New England Small School champions. The team has also won the New England Prep School Division I Championship twice (1994 and 1997) and were Hockey West Champions in 2002, 2003, and 2005. Over the years, Boys’ Hockey earned 15 New England Tournament bids while typically playing one of the most competitive schedules in the region.

The program’s competitive culture and focus on individual skill development have helped numerous players transition to the next level. Canterbury alumnus Mike Dunham ’90 skated for Team USA at the Olympics three times—in 1992, 1994, and 2002, when the team brought home a Silver Medal.
