Overview
The educational experience at Canterbury extends itself to the basketball program, where focus is placed on sportsmanship, discipline, and determination. Our goal is not only to develop the athlete’s basketball skills but also to encourage true sportsmanship and a sincere appreciation for competition. The Boys’ Varsity Basketball team participates in the very competitive New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), which is recognized as one of the top conferences in the nation and is a member of the Tri-State League. The Saints have captured the NEPSAC Class B New England Championship twice — in 2015 and again in 2020.
Graduates of the Canterbury basketball program have gone on to play at Babson College, Dartmouth College, Hampton University, University of Louisville, Marist College, Princeton University, Williams College, and many other NCAA institutions.
