Thank you for your volunteer and financial support!
Greetings from Canterbury, I begin all conversations with a "thank you." It is important to understand that everything we accomplish—all dollars raised and achievements attained – are all due to the generous support and volunteer efforts of alumni, parents and friends of the school. We exist as a means to an end; we are here to garner the resources necessary to offer the opportunity of a world class education, one that propels our students into a world where they are productive, energized, well-adjusted and ready to work with and support the people and institutions in their lives. In the end, the greatest gift of all is the gift of education. At Canterbury it is also a values-based education. Thank you for helping make this possible.
We are at a very exciting time in the history of Canterbury. Rachel Stone enters her second year at the helm and is now officially not the new Head of School any longer. The Centennial is in our rear view mirror, and we are firmly ensconced in our 2nd hundred years as a school. The Canterbury Moment Campaign is at $54 million towards our $75 million goal. The endowment is at $32 million. And the Annual Fund just closed at an all-time high of $1,623,676 and 1,216 donors. In terms of the campaign and our goals, we will pivot in September and unveil the final stages of what we plan to accomplish…stay tuned! The Society of Alumni continues to grow and is fully engaged in alumni programming and the creation of volunteer opportunities through the Canterbury Core.
It is with tremendous honor and pride that I serve Canterbury School and our community. I am deeply appreciative for all that you do for our great school. Thank you for your time, effort and financial support on behalf of Canterbury.
