Big Plans in the Big Apple

Jim Norman

New York area Saints—start spreading the news! Members of our regional association, Canterbury Club of New York (CCNY), recently sat down with Director of Alumni Relations Kate Heslin ’96 at Stout NYC in Manhattan to discuss plans for the organization and local alumni.

Joining Kate were CCNY President Elizabeth Dooley ’10, Will Finn ’07, Jack Elsas ’14, Josef Najm ’12, and Alec Woodworth ’11. The group spent the majority of the meeting discussing and strategizing future events and ideas for the organization.

In addition to being a part of CCNY, Jack serves as secretary on the Executive Committee of Canterbury’s Society of Alumni. Elizabeth and Josef are each Executive Committee members.

“It was great to spend time with some of the leadership team of CCNY,” Elizabeth said. “We brainstormed short-term and long-term ideas of engagement that tailor to all audiences. We are excited about others getting involved in the mission of CCNY and cannot wait to see where the club takes us.”
