Canterbury Adds New Members to Honor Society

Meredith Berry-Toon

The Canterbury Honor Society (CHS) added thirteen new members in a ceremony at the school meeting of Monday, November 7. Each inductee received a scroll from Rachel Stone, Head of School. Selection to the CHS is the School's highest honor.

Bryan Kiefer, the Society's advisor, told the student body: "To qualify as a member, students must present a record of good citizenship in our community, have enrolled in a rigorous academic program which includes Honors or AP courses, and have achieved a high honors cumulative GPA."

The new members of the CHS include: Sixth Formers Samantha Amour, Isabella Capanna, Sarah Cox, Lillian Delahanty, Olivia Dibb, Courtney Dunham, Allyson Eggleton, Eun Bin Kim, Bridget Murphy, Sinead O'Donnell, Christina Thomson, Jiahua Wu, and Ximeng Zhu. Shane Cheon and Chris Liu were inducted as Fifth Formers last spring.

Members will be feted at a special dinner in May 2017.

Congratulations to all the new members. The Canterbury community is very proud of all you have accomplished.
