Canterbury hosted its annual Fall College Night on Thursday, October 3 with representatives from 50 colleges and universities in attendance. Fifth and Sixth Form students and their families met with institutions from across the country, including Boston College, Purdue University, Franklin & Marshall College, Providence College, and Yale University.
Fifth and Sixth Form students were paired with representatives to provide tours of the campus, and the groups were joined by faculty for a formal dinner in the dining hall. The dinner offered opportunities for students to engage in in-depth, candid conversations with the representatives about their goals and aspirations for the next step in their academic careers.
Sarah Ferland, Director of College Counseling organized the event and said, “The college representatives were more appreciative and complimentary than ever, and that is a testament to this community and the people in it.”
Following the sit-down dinner, students and their families were invited to attend the annual College Fair in the Copley Library to learn more about each college and its offerings.
