College Night at Canterbury

College Night at Canterbury
Meredith Berry-Toon

On Thursday evening, V and VI Formers gathered for formal sit down dinner with guests from colleges across the country. Representatives from over 50 colleges were in attendance, including Marist College, Bucknell University, and Trinity College.

Dinner included candid conversations between the representatives and Upper Form students regarding their college aspirations. Representatives answered student questions and spoke about campus life, academics, and athletics. The casual setting of the sit down dinner gave Canterbury students the opportunity to learn more about the college represented at their table.

"The representatives were very interested in learning about our Canterbury traditions, which was great," says VI Former Bella Papov. "In turn, I really valued being able to hear about their campus traditions and other aspects of college life that we wouldn't hear via a large group or via an info session."

Following Sit Down, V and VI Form students were invited to the College Fair in the Copley Library where student had the chance to meet with every representatives from all invited schools.
