After a year-long process, Canterbury celebrated Confirmation on Monday, April 9. 21 students, III Formers through PGs, were confirmed by Bishop Peter Rosazza of the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT.
The Canterbury Confirmandi celebrated dinner in the dining hall with their families, friends, and sponsors before the 7 p.m. event. A reception followed in the Brodie Room.
Those confirmed included Meaghan Francis '18, Draquan Jones '18, Steven Mullally '18, Jordan Perez '18, Casey Chizmazia '19, Bryce Leckey '19, Spencer McLean '19, Lucas Williams '19, Jonathon Fernandes '20, Shannon Kennedy '20, Grace LaVigne '20, JiWon Lee '20, Maeve O'Donnell '20, Cameron Plants '20, Justin Schneider '20, Giselle Bradshaw '21, Ryan Fee '21, Luke Hassiak '21, Jordan Jayson '21, Bryan Pannasch '21, and Samuel Tscheppe '21.
Bishop Rosazza is a member of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee for Social Development and World Peace. He is a liaison with Brazilian Catholics for the Committee on Migration and Refugees and bishop advisor to the National Student Coalition.
