Over 100 guests gathered at an early fall reception hosted by Trustee Keith Angell '75 at the Lake Waramaug Country Club on Friday, September 21. Head of School Rachel Stone greeted parents, students, and alumni with a message focused on "pace and pattern" of student life, the entirety and vitality of students' involvement as scholars, athletes, peers, and leaders on campus. Varsity Voices, the student a cappella singing group, performed under the direction of Choral and Liturgical Music Director Sarah Armstrong, and guests caught a glimpse of the beginning-of-school slide show highlighting activities on campus and moments captured from the Montana and Lourdes, France summer leadership/service trips. While Mrs. Stone informed the group of progress toward the $10MM Mission and Momentum Capital Campaign challenge match— a video rendering of The Student Commons led viewers through the interior of the project planned for the hilltop.
