The Girls' Varsity Lacrosse team travels to Mesquite, Nevada for their spring training trip, leaving this upcoming Monday, March 19 and returning at the end of the week before classes begin on March 27. While out west, the team will scrimmage East Coast competitors such as Milton Academy, Blair Academy, and Germantown Friends. Other travelling programs include Rye Country Day and Cheshire Academy.
"We are looking forward to a great week in Nevada," remarked head coach Lindsay Mulhern. "It is important for us to spend this week together as the girls need the time to gel as a unit and bond as a team. We are excited about our plans on and off the field."
The team will be traveling with Trilogy Lacrosse, a well-known and respected lacrosse training program, and staying at the Rising Star Sports Ranch. In addition to training for their spring schedule, the team will be hiking Zion National Park in Utah.
"We hope everyone will follow our adventure on Twitter and Instagram at @cburygirlslax," noted Coach Mulhern. For more information about the Spring Training trip or Canterbury's Girls' Lacrosse program, please contact Coach Mulhern directly at lmulhern@cbury.org.
