One Sixth Former and two PGs on the Varsity Baseball team have signed their letters of commitment to play baseball at Division I programs.
Jake Roper, '18 an outfielder from Bethel, CT, has committed to the University of Maine. Garrett Crowley '18 from Forest Hills, NY, is a left-handed pitcher who has committed to Fordham University. Brian Gaughan '18 of Walpole, MA, is a right-handed pitcher who has committed to Central Connecticut State University.
"I am very proud of all three of these student athletes and am excited to work with them this spring," says coach Todd Mathewson. "All three have very bright futures, and I wish them all the best as they all advance to the next level."
Canterbury is incredibly proud of these students' accomplishments. Roper, Crowley, and Gaughan join others in the Class of 2018 who plan to continue their athletic careers in college at both the Division I and Division III levels.
