Congratulations to our outstanding Saints who were recently honored by their coaches with Canterbury’s Spring Athletic Awards at School Meeting. The Crew, Track, Golf, and Lacrosse teams each named a Coaches’ Award recipient and a Most Valuable Player (MVP).
In addition to naming MVPs, the Softball and Baseball teams presented the Barbara Frank Sheehan Softball Award and Class of 1962 Baseball Award to the players who exhibited courage, leadership, team spirit, and ability that exemplifies Canterbury Athletics. Each Tennis team also awarded MVPs with additional presentations of the Horace E. Tennes Girls’ Tennis Award for outstanding contribution to the girls’ tennis program and the William Stephanek ’78 Boys’ Tennis Award recognizing leadership.
