Student-Athletes Commit to Play at the Collegiate Level

On November 10, seven Canterbury student-athletes formalized their commitment to play sports at the collegiate level. These students represent some of the top athletic talent on our hilltop—and New England—and are testaments to our culture of academic and athletic excellence.

Four of the students signed to play for NCAA Division I schools: Cullen Mulhern ’22 will play lacrosse for Providence College, RI; Alessandra King ’22 will play soccer for American University, Washington, D.C.; Richard Kerstetter ’22 will join the baseball team at Saint Joseph's University, PA; and James Morice ’22 will play baseball for Northeastern University, MA. Three other members of the Varsity Baseball team will also continue to play through their next academic chapter at Division III schools: Mark “Maverick” Foster ’22 for Arcadia University, PA; William Granata ’22 for College of Mount Saint Vincent, NY; and Aidan Sullivan for Swarthmore College, PA.

Several of the students were joined by family members and loved ones as they celebrated this next step in their academic and athletic careers. We are so proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them continue to do what they love!
