Two Big Wins for Canterbury Production of Clue

Kelly Slonaker

This spring, Canterbury's fall production of Clue was nominated for a whopping 12 Halo Awards out of 15 eligible categories.

Awards were announced during a virtual ceremony on June 25 and Canterbury had two major wins, including one for Chiara Vaccaro ’20 for Best Female Standout Performance in an Ensemble Production for her performance as Mrs. White, and one for the entire cast and crew for Best Contemporary Play.

The Halo Awards, sponsored by the Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, CT, honor high school students’ achievements in all aspects of theatre. Over 60 high schools from across the State of Connecticut participate annually in the Award Ceremony, held each year since 2003.

Bravo to Canterbury Theater for these majors wins and for an outstanding performance!
