After a competitive winter season, three of Canterbury's team's - Boys' Varsity Basketball, Boys' Varsity Hockey, and Girls' Varsity Hockey - have been selected to advance to compete in their respective NEPSAC tournaments.
Each team will play in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, February 28. #7 Boys' Hockey travels to the town of Washington to compete against #2 Gunnery School, CT at 2 p.m. while #8 Girls' Varsity Hockey team will compete against #1 seeded Rivers School, MA at Rivers at 2:30 p.m. #3 seeded Varsity Boys' Basketball plays home against #6 seeded Hamden Hall, CT at 5 p.m. All teams compete for the chance to advance to the semifinals which will be hosted this upcoming Saturday, March 3.
Swimming will also compete this week at the New England Prep School Championships DIII (NEPSSA) as the Boys' Varsity team looks to win the championship title for the third year in the row. Diving jumps off at 3 p.m. this Wednesday, February 28 while swimming begins at 9 a.m. this upcoming Saturday, March 3. Both meets are hosted at the Cornerstone Aquatic Center in West Hartford.
