You Can Always Come Home

Meredith Berry-Toon

On the afternoon of October 8, graduates arrived on campus for Homecoming Day, a time for them to reconnect with classmates, faculty, and former faculty. Members of various cross-country teams returned and presented their coach Walter Burke with a special plaque to mark their appreciation for all he did for them as runners and for being such a positive role model. Later that night, Canterbury's Athletics Hall of Fame inducted Walter into its second class of honorees.

A full slate of athletic contests peppered the campus, and children of graduates were treated to face painting and additional campus activities.

Patrick Filan '74 won the Homecoming raffle, a basket of Canterbury swag.
